Game Recognizes Game in a World Where Politics is Professional Wrestling: Howard Stern Interviews Alex Jones

Howard Stern is one of the greatest interviewers and media personalities in American history. Alex Jones is also an amazing media personality who commands a large audience. Both are managers of, and ring leaders in, a human zoo.

I admire both men for their hustle. As is my catch phrase and quotable, and based on some of the comments here on We Are Respectable Negroes from time to time, I do wonder how many in the conspiracy theory paranoid style in American politics community realize that Alex Jones is doing a "worked shoot" in the theater of "politics as professional wrestling?"

Yes, there are conspiracies of Power. However, the reality is that books such as Behold a Pale Horse may be compelling to the organic intellectual subaltern barbershop prison radical crowd, but the real machinations of power are hiding in plain sight. The riddle as revealed and deciphered by men like Alex Jones--for those who are "in" on the secret--is just part of the con job for people who find Willie Lynch and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion compelling works of history.

Don't get me wrong. I find Alex Jones entertaining in much the same way that I admire Howard Stern and love watching professional wrestling. A great performance is always compelling to me.

A question remains: is Alex Jones an agent provocateur, on the take and doing the bidding of the various forces he claims are his enemies, and from which, he is supposedly at risk? And does Alex Jones realize how badly Howard Stern exposed his flimsy hustle?

Some things in wrestling cannot be faked; i.e. landing on your back on a concrete floor. Jones is showman. But so are Scott Pelley, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams

sorry for the double post. unable to edit for some reason

You know how I feel about the corporate media. But Jones, by definition, has zero to no credibility, among most people and the mass public. Thus, his popularity among his fans.

He supports Ron Paul, a man who does not support the Voting Rights Act, and like his dad would not supported the end of slavery or the civil rights struggle. For all their anti-drug stuff--which I agree with--they are very comfortable w. both anti-democratic corporate power as well as laws the denied people their rights based on skin color.

Don't forget how utterly racist Stern is. His "Homeless Hollywood Squares." Using Robin Givens as a front for some of the most ruthless race-baiting "comedy" routines post-1960s Civil Rights Era. Monsters like Art Grant and Morton Downey Jr. in the NYC area saw racism (and poverty and helplessness) as a big area to exploit for money and fame in the late 1970s for a sociopathic white male audience. In a sense, they paved the road for Limbaugh and Beck and the other white racist freaks.

jones 'has zero to no credibility, among most people '

so i'm coming to understand. Like most people I used to avoid Jones' sites. I'm no fan of his politics. But then I realized that the best way to discover what MSN is trying hide from you is to look at what people like Jones are reporting. Do I buy everything he says? Not by a long shot. But if you take his stuff and sift out the BS, take the MSN stuff and sift out the BS, mix it together, you get something closer to truth than you can get from either alone. By no means is Alex Jones my primary source of alternative news. For my money the online light warriors are the best sources.

I disagree. I think he is one of the most honest and direct speakers on the real dynamics of race on the ground as most white folks (and others) experience it. There is going to be lots written about his work once he retires in relationship to race, representation, and racial discourse. You are right, he was unfairly lumped together with Limbaugh and rise of White Hate Male Rage radio in the late 1980s. That was never his shtick though.

I don't think Jones cares about being exposed. Just like our regular media the only thing that matters is getting paid. Jones didn't lose any supporters with that interview. People that really believe Jones are pretty difficult to convince. I believe his success is due to our low college graduation rates. College has a way of clearing up some of that clutter. It's pretty hard to pull Alex Jones' bullshit on someone that's taken the time to study public policy.

As a side note, there's no way that Bush wouldn't have celebrated killing Bin Laden. He would've used it to beat democrats upside their heads to this day.

LaRouchian's support Ron and Rand Paul, Christopher Monckton, pro-Gun, anti-Abortion, anti-gay, vaguely anti-Jew, deeply conspiratorial anti-Luciferian, anti-Wahabist, anti-Catholic, anti-Drug, anti-Vaccination, the list goes on and on.

Bottomline, what these factors all share in common is a set of fundamental errors of logic and fact, which, if the LaRouchian supporter is herself less than rigorous in her factual, historical, scientific and cultural analysis - presents a nifty set of filters for sorting and concentrating stupid and suggestible such that little further effort is required to keep said individual ensnared in a complex and interdependent web of disinformation and true belief.

I don't think Jones is faking it. He may be a fundamentalist like the people that wrote Left Behind. They aren't going to get involved because God's going to take care of it in the end. They are also convinced that satan rules the world underneath all appearances. That explains how the government can be evil enough to plot 9/11 for shits and giggles.

Guys, next time you purchase the tablet, check with your partners should they have to have one.
This could double up the sale of the anti-impotence treatment
Cialis. A current finding suggests that the erectile
dysfunction capsule which has pepped up the sexual lifetime
of gentlemen is proving being effective in the event of females struggling from the sexual disinterest.

The study underlines which the drugs works for girls
about it does in the event of gentlemen if not much more.

That's an interesting take. I wouldn't mind seeing you write an essay on that in the future. I knew Stern's routine a bitt via his drive-time radio showI. He began syndicating a TV show with skits. I became horrified at his "Homeless Hollywood Squares" production, which featured real homeless people just struggling to remain alive. I felt his was laughing AT the homeless, not WITH them against Reaganism, Bush Une, and the odious betrayal of the Clinton New Democrats. I'm off? You saw different? Or he evolved?

"Evolved" is an interesting word. It begs from what and to what destination. That skit was "funny." It was also a bit mean. All depends on one's mood and their range of comedic taste.

You actually make it appear so easy along with your presentation but
I find this matter to be really one thing which I feel I'd by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very wide for me. I'm looking ahead on your subsequent post, I will
try to get the grasp of it!

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get
